The best cheese enchiladas for lunch, thanks to a former supervisor/work friend and her family.

Easy commute…(hey, if I had to work on New Year’s Eve, at least traffic was light, right?)
A two-hour nap followed by a caffeine infusion to stay up until midnight.
Lobster tails, potatoes/caulflower au gratin (with gruyere), and triple chocolate cheesecake.
Ninth anniversary of our engagement and I can’t wait to kiss the husband at midnight. :)

Lunch with the “girls” (past and present co-workers).
A batch of the best enchiladas ever (to be eaten at a later date), provided by one of the girls.

Which included my favorite two-and-a-half-year-old friend.
