So, despite the shock of losing his cousin earlier this week, we went ahead with our early anniversary dinner at the Flagstaff House overlooking the city of Boulder last night. We wined and dined and toasted his cousin J.

One of Greg’s cousins on his mother’s side died suddenly today.  A month shy of 35.  A week short of his third wedding anniversary.  Needless to say, we’re rather numb right now.


I found a dress similar to elements of both “little black dresses” at Ann Taylor Loft while on my lunch break today. Sleeveless, wrapped v-neck, below the knee and perfect for the necklace. The sun is shining, the air is warm, birds are chirping, flowers are budding, cats are leashed and walking around the backyard.
Spring has sprung, it seems.  I’m trying my hardest to be optimistic that no more wintry weather will come to the Front Range of Colorado until late autumn*.
